Create your first invoice
Add your business, save a client and review your first invoice before sending.
Add your business details
Sign in to your workspace. Follow the getting-started guide, or open Business settings to add your business name, email, address and default currency.
- Enter the details you want clients to see on invoices.
- Upload a PNG, JPG or WebP logo up to 2 MB. Check the preview before saving.
- Save your business details. You can return to Business settings later.
Save your client
Open Clients and add the client’s name and email address. Check the email carefully: it is used when sending invoices and reminders. Select this saved client when creating an invoice.
Create and review a draft
- Open the invoice editor and select the client.
- Choose the invoice currency, issue date and due date. Add the work or items, quantities and prices.
- Save the draft, then check the invoice preview, recipient and total.
Saving a draft does not email your client. Creating a draft counts toward your invoice allowance.
Issue the invoice when it is ready
Review the confirmation before issuing. For an eligible invoice with a valid client email, issuing queues the first invoice email. The confirmation identifies the recipient. Without a client email, share the invoice link or PDF yourself.
Invoqly organizes your invoice and records payments received elsewhere. It does not collect or hold your client’s money.
